Please note that the presence of a part in the Sales List
does not, unfortunately, mean it is still on the shelf. Although most items
are in stock, parts are bought or made in batches and this can only be done when
the minimum order quantity is justified. Some other parts were purchased by
the club in small batches from dealers who were closing down and, once the last
of these is sold, they are gone.
The Sales List indicates which parts were in stock or on order at the time it
was prepared. On receipt of your order, if a part is not currently available, you will be
advised of the expected lead time if remanufacture is expected.
Please also note the disclaimer on our "home
page" regarding the user's responsibility to ensure that the part is
suitable for the intended use. These are not modern, computer-designed and made
parts which never vary - they are from and for an era when occasional problems
were expected and tolerated.
When viewing the extensive list of parts, please remember that
you can use your web browser's "Find" capability to find a word on the
page you are currently viewing. For example, in Internet Explorer click Edit on
the menu bar, then Find. Don't click the Search buttons - they search the
internet.

PLEASE FOLLOW THESE GUIDELINES WHEN ORDERING:
Use the ORDER FORM, or a good replica; PRINT CLEARLY, and include MODEL AND YEAR
ORDER BY PART NUMBER, NOT JUST BY DESCRIPTION. This makes the biggest single contribution to efficient use of our volunteers' time. Any other method wastes precious time as they try and work out what you want, and if they guess wrong then everyone's time is wasted.
ALL ORDERS MUST INCLUDE YOUR MEMBERSHIP NUMBER
POSTAGE AND PACKING IS EXTRA on all items. Unless requested otherwise, all items will be sent uninsured by the cheapest postal method. Surface mail estimates:- U.K. 15% OVERSEAS 25%. This charge also recovers some other significant mail order costs. Even so, for small but high value items it may sometimes seem excessive and the actual figure that you are charged may then be a little less. Overseas airmail can be provided on request, at cost.
Owing to revised bank charges, Credit & Debit Cards are now preferred to cheques
Cards that can be used are :
Mastercard or Visa
Credit cards
Switch, Maestro, Visa or Solo Debit Cards; except for Maestro
Cards issued by a non-UK Bank, which cannot be used for mail order because the
actual card has to be checked on-line at the time of use. Maestro Cards issued
by a UK Bank can be used for mail order.
As part of the UK's migration to "Chip & Pin", in addition to
your Card Number and Expiry Date and your Name & Address it is now necessary
for you to provide the three digit Security Code from your card. It is usually
on the back, near to the signature block, and possibly near to a repeat of all
or part of your card number.
VSL will destroy the Security Code after it has
been used to validate your transaction.
Prices quoted in this list are not guaranteed to apply at the time of sale due to fluctuating prices from suppliers.
"Stainless Steel" is corrosion resistant and not necessarily corrosion free.
