EK003 KSS/KTS ENGINE

Anybody know the grade & source of spark plugs for a 1934 Mk1 KSS please? - Harry Nicholson 19/11/2001

The best modern plug for this engine is the NGK A8. These are available generally, but I always buy mine from "The Green Spark Company". They are used in America for a racing hydroplane engine. The A6 is also good for softer engines and will stand more oil. Don't waste time & money on "original" Lodges, KLGs etc., they're all about 50 years old and worthless. The Green Spark man also sells a modern plug lead which looks just like rubber and brass terminals for the NGKs, so they look vintage. - Jim Plant 28/11/2001
