I am a chemical engineer working in the mineral processing industry.
I always wanted this model (1960) Viper since my learners licence days; it just
took 40 years to get one!
It now has an Alton starter and hopefully soon a 5-speed Nova box.
The picture of the July (?) '46 MAC is after its (2006) overhaul.
The MAC is significantly smaller and lighter than the Viper.
It has the cast base plate frame and the kick-start and gear lever design
modifications by Phil Irving (originally for the war-time MAF): a nice
association for an Australian-based MAC.
The 1935 KTS pictures are of my father's bike (bought new in January 1936, sold
in 1938) and the reason for his then my interest in Velocette.
The pictures from around 1937: see the flags I assume to celebrate George VIth's
Coronation (May 1937).
