Please e-mail your News or your Event details to tony_wright@compuserve.com
If you prefer to type the e-mail address in later, please note that it's an "_" (underscore) between "tony" and "wright", not a space.
Any e-mails to this id that are not specifically related to the Velocette motorcycle are automatically deleted, unless they are from a club member.
Please do not ask about the 'whereabouts' of a particular machine. At the request of members the club has implemented a secure procedure for handling such requests through the club registrars, but this procedure (which is in writing) is only available to members. 'Dating' services are also not available on-line.

Event items must include a phone number or an e-mail address as a contact point for members to obtain further information, or to check that the event has not been cancelled before they make extensive travel arrangements. Items will usually appear on the site within two days of their receipt. They will be automatically removed if they become irrelevant, though News items that might be of continuing interest or contain useful facts may remain indefinitely.

Any Centre in the Velocette Owners Club is invited to run its own "website" through these pages.
Just nominate one (and only one) person as your 'webmaster' who will e-mail in text and pictures ready to go on the site.
Your text should be just plain and in an e-mail (not in an "attached file") - your pictures have to be an attached file, which you can send in whatever format you can manage and advice will be given if necessary, but ideally please use jpg format, medium quality, and about 500 pixels wide.
Unless you say otherwise, your "Events" will also appear in the general News because all Velo enthusiasts are welcome.
